Lacie's princess party

Finally! I got my pics on here. Lacie had a princess party Saturday Nov 21st at our house. We had a fun time. We were thankful for all our friends who could come. God blessed us with an awesome weather day and we were able to play outside on our swingset and trampoline! The kids played for almost 2 hours and we had pizza cake and icees. Taylor was concerned that Lacie didn't have any presents but we had asked that our friends just help us celebrate without gifts. Ben and Krista had brought Lacie a gift anyway so we opened that. We had a fun time and enjoyed dressing up and seeing our friends dressed up! (I can't believe Lacie is already 3) Playing in the sandbox

The Great Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch in Hayden, AL yesterday with my sister Mandy and her two boys Jackson and Mason and my little sister Kara. It was raining off and on the whole time. We still had fun in the mud. There were not very many people there and Lacie didn't get to ride a pony like she wanted so I guess we will have to go back to ride a pony sometime when it is not raining!

Happy 1st Birthday Kaden (my baby is 1)

Waa! My little baby is one now. Thanks to everyone who helped celebrate. I made the cake it's supposed to be a baby einstein catepillar. I was pleased with the end result. Kaden really enjoyed eating/playing with his share. He had a lot of onlookers and was wondering about that I think. He also had fun opening presents. So did Benjamin, Brodie and Lacie. They felt like it was their birthdays too. (Ashley I didn't post your pic but maybe on facebook:) )

Sis Deanette cut Kaden's hair for me on Friday at youth. He looks like a big boy now. She did a great job while he was moving around on my lap!

Ashley(sutton) Collins told me about Picnik.com and so I went and tried it out this am. Fun!Fun! I had taken Lacie and Kaden to the gardens back in May and taken lots of pic with the roses. I thought this was a sweet picture of Kaden looking at the roses!

Kaden is a climber these days. He has been climbing everywhere. He likes to climb into the laundry basket. Lacie of coarse had to join in on the fun. She is so silly!

Here is my copycat picture that I stole from Ashley and Rylan. I was chasing Kaden around the house trying to get him to stay still long enough to get his whole foot in the picture. He did not think this was such a sweet idea. Anyways, I think this pretty good for all my chasing. Ha!

1st trip to Dentist

Lacie had her first dentist visit this AM. We went to see Dr. Jerry Parker on Center Point Pkwy, he was very nice. Everyone there was very friendly. Lacie was very brave. We had been talking about getting her teeth brushed with the funny brush and sitting in the big chair. She was excited at home about it but I was worried she was going to freak out when we actually went. She said "where's the big chair?" when we got there. They had a cool play area in the waiting room. Kaden played with her and she baked a cake for us. When it was her turn she was a little nervous but did awesome. No cavities...yea! We just have to work on telling our paci bye-bye! I was very proud of her. Kaden watched closely while she was getting her teeth brushed and examined. He will have a heads up when it's his turn.

Our trip to Georgia with Dawson and Melody....traveling buddies!

We had a fun trip to Georgia with Dawson and Melody on Father's day weekend. We went down Friday night and stayed in a cabin in Pine Mountain, GA. Then Saturday we went to the Wild Animal Safari and had fun driving through feeding the animals. It was awesome but VERY HOT!! Then we went to Atlanta and toured the World of Coca Cola! The kids did not enjoy all of the driving. especially on the way down...we took the scenic route a couple times....thanks to a "malfuntioning" GPS.

This animals horns were as thick as a person's arm....kinda scary...but Dawson was brave and grabbed onto the horn after feeding it a treat

Jeff was a little hesitant about touching the animals....but did after some prompting!
