At home with Lacie

I'm at home with Lacie today and am absolutely loving it!!!! i had to start back to work on saturday and worked 7Am-7Pm saturday and sunday. I missed her soooooo much. Granny had her all day satuday. I came home from work and fed her and snuggled. I had whataburger for dinner and we went to bed. I won't have to work two 12 hour shifts back to back anymore because I will only be working 7am-3pm on my weekends and I will work 12 hours on Tues. and Thurs.

Lacie and the Bumbo!!! She LOVES it!!!

Look how big Lacie has gotten. I tried putting her in her Bumbo again today and she did so good. She sat in it for 30 minutes and was content. She was watching Mason and Jackson play nintendo. Jackson was having fun loving on her and she was getting his finger. He thought that was funny!

2 Months Old!!!

Lacie was 2 months old Monday! We went for her 2 month well doctor visit yesterday. She had to get four immunizations. =0( She hollered but it wasn't too bad. We went to Granny's after her appointment. She now weighs 9 pounds 14 ounces.(So close to 10 pounds) and she grew another inch. So she is 22 inches long now. Yea. She is 40th percentile for her height and 25th percentile for her weight. We went bowling with Granny and Pops last night. It was a lot of fun. Pops won the first game and Daddy won the second game. Lacie slept most of the time we were there but woke up at the beginning of the second game to eat!

Picking Up the Cousins from the Bus Stop!

Monday afternoon we picked up the cousins, Mason and Jackson from the bus stop. They were so excited to see Lacie. Mason said "Lacie is AWESOME!!" Jackson and Mason were both talking about how she can play video games with them when she gets big and Jackson said "even freeze tag...freeze tag is hard because the person who chases you, when they touch you, you turn to an ice" We came back to our house and then went to Cici's for dinner when Jeff came home. It was a tight squeeze but I managed to get all three car seats into the car!

We got this teddy bear in the mail today from Aunt Mira and Uncle Rod and family. It is so soft and cuddly!

We always go to Jeff's family's house on Christmas morning. The extended family comes over around lunch time. Lacie had a busy day being passed around.

We always go to my family's for Christmas Eve. We play bingo, then read the bible story and then get snacks before opening gifts. It always gets loud. Lots of fun. Lacie slept through all the activities.

We went on our first overnight out of town trip with Lacie on the Friday before Christmas. It was not as easy as we had thought, but it was definitely an adventure and we decided that we needed to wait until she is a little older before trying such a thing again!
