kaden 2 months

Kaden is now 14 lbs 9 oz and 23 inches long. I just started back to work this weekend. Time goes by fast! He is getting so big! We love him very much and thank God that he blessed us with him.

Happy Birthday Lacie!!! She is TWO!!!

I can't believe my baby is already two years old now! She is growing so fast! She had a fun time at her birthday. We invited my family and Jeff's family over to our house to celebrate. We also had a couple friends over... so we definitely had a full house! We got an Elmo cake from Sam's (very cute) We also had a small bounce house outside. The kids were not that interested in this. Lacie enjoyed opening her gifts. She got a bunch of shoes and wanted to put on every pair!

I took Kaden for his 1 month checkup on 10/24. He has grown an inch so he is now 22 inches and he weighs 11 lbs 2 oz. He is growing fast!

Kaden is 4 weeks old today. He has been holding his head up so I decided to try and put him in his Bumbo chair. Lacie thought it was so cool that he was sitting in his chair beside her. She tried to feed him a chocolate chip (which is what she is holding in the picture) I had to intervene and tell her "no no Kaden is too little to eat that" She was ok with that.
Kaden is not so thrilled with the chair and started crying after a few minutes. He would rather be held!

Our trip to the zoo!

We took Lacie and Kaden to the Birmingham zoo today! It was a fun day! Lacie really enjoyed it. Kara went with us and was a big help! Here's Lacie climbing the spiderweb in the children's zoo section.

More of Kaden!

Lacie loves her little brother. She can't give him enough kisses! She is very cute with him but thinks she can hold him all by herself. Also, he sure takes up a lot of her mommy's time. I was having fun at the hospital the day we were to go home. We were just waiting on daddy to get off work to take us home so I took advantage of the photo op time.

Kaden arrived Monday Sept. 22 at 1806. He weighed 7 lbs 15 oz. and was 21 inches long. Proud daddy with Kaden.
