Kaden at Botanical gardens in May 09

Ashley(sutton) Collins told me about Picnik.com and so I went and tried it out this am. Fun!Fun! I had taken Lacie and Kaden to the gardens back in May and taken lots of pic with the roses. I thought this was a sweet picture of Kaden looking at the roses!

Kaden is a climber these days. He has been climbing everywhere. He likes to climb into the laundry basket. Lacie of coarse had to join in on the fun. She is so silly!

Here is my copycat picture that I stole from Ashley and Rylan. I was chasing Kaden around the house trying to get him to stay still long enough to get his whole foot in the picture. He did not think this was such a sweet idea. Anyways, I think this pretty good for all my chasing. Ha!

1st trip to Dentist

Lacie had her first dentist visit this AM. We went to see Dr. Jerry Parker on Center Point Pkwy, he was very nice. Everyone there was very friendly. Lacie was very brave. We had been talking about getting her teeth brushed with the funny brush and sitting in the big chair. She was excited at home about it but I was worried she was going to freak out when we actually went. She said "where's the big chair?" when we got there. They had a cool play area in the waiting room. Kaden played with her and she baked a cake for us. When it was her turn she was a little nervous but did awesome. No cavities...yea! We just have to work on telling our paci bye-bye! I was very proud of her. Kaden watched closely while she was getting her teeth brushed and examined. He will have a heads up when it's his turn.

Our trip to Georgia with Dawson and Melody....traveling buddies!

We had a fun trip to Georgia with Dawson and Melody on Father's day weekend. We went down Friday night and stayed in a cabin in Pine Mountain, GA. Then Saturday we went to the Wild Animal Safari and had fun driving through feeding the animals. It was awesome but VERY HOT!! Then we went to Atlanta and toured the World of Coca Cola! The kids did not enjoy all of the driving. especially on the way down...we took the scenic route a couple times....thanks to a "malfuntioning" GPS.

This animals horns were as thick as a person's arm....kinda scary...but Dawson was brave and grabbed onto the horn after feeding it a treat

Jeff was a little hesitant about touching the animals....but did after some prompting!

The Beach!

We had fun at the beach in Gulf Shores this past weekend. We went to celebrate Kara graduating from high school. The place we stayed was a little disappointing but not horrible. Lacie enjoyed the sand and water. Kaden was not really thrilled by it. We ate at Lambert's Sunday night....that was fun, and we went to the Track and played putt putt and Lacie rode in the go kart with her "dakky". All in all it was a fun time!

Carnival

We went to the carnival Saturday night! Lacie had a fun time. She rode the little roller coaster by herself and hollered the whole time. It was cute.

We all rode the berry go round together ...fun fun.

Twon came and hung out with us... he held Kaden while "mommy" rode rides

Kaden got to ride on the carousel too.. it was actually really fast for a carousel.

Clay May days

Saturday we went to Clay May days. It is a lot smaller than the Magnolia festival but the same concept. We bought some bows for Lacie , a mother's day gift for my mom (flowering plant) and watched Micah and Elizabeth do a presentation with their Karate class. Micah is in the back left corner
