Home school...Cheerios craft

Today, we read the Cheerios counting book and then counted cheerios. We strung them onto ribbon to wear around our necks. The kids did a great job and were excited to be able to bite cheerios off the ribbon.

We found out Thursday September 8th that we are having a boy! I worked the night before and Jeff met me with the kids for breakfast before the ultrasound. I was worried Lacie wold cry if we found out it was a boy but she did great (she was quiet). Kaden was giggly when they said, "it's a boy" and then was bored and ready to leave.

Treehouse adventure

Tuesday we went to Treetop adventure in Chelsea. It was a cold and rainy day and Jeff had been sick all of Labor day. This was our first time to go and it was fun. We were almost the only ones there, which was nice.

2011

Ok... so the year is definitely more than half over and I have not posted a single thing. I had changed the header pic to one from a camping trip we took this year (in the freezing weather). We have been keeping busy. We found out we are going to have another baby in June. It is due February 13th! We got a minivan to prepare for our expanded family. We love all the extra room! Now we just have to worry about a bigger house, but that will take a little while. Kaden is turning 3 in September and Lacie will be 5 in November! My babies are growing fast. So this year, we have had a camping trip, a beach trip, and youth trip to Oklahoma. We are saving our money for a Disney World trip sometime in the future. :) Lacie has been working on her reading skills and Kaden is tagging along! We have been enjoying our pool this summer. Also, we have a small veggie garden that we have been trying to keep up with.

Snow, snow, snow!!

Yea! we got fun snow... and the roads were still open! We had fun playing in the snow on Fri and then Sat morning we went out front and built a snowman before all the snow melted!

Lacie's princess party

Finally! I got my pics on here. Lacie had a princess party Saturday Nov 21st at our house. We had a fun time. We were thankful for all our friends who could come. God blessed us with an awesome weather day and we were able to play outside on our swingset and trampoline! The kids played for almost 2 hours and we had pizza cake and icees. Taylor was concerned that Lacie didn't have any presents but we had asked that our friends just help us celebrate without gifts. Ben and Krista had brought Lacie a gift anyway so we opened that. We had a fun time and enjoyed dressing up and seeing our friends dressed up! (I can't believe Lacie is already 3) Playing in the sandbox
