We went to Michigan to see my dad's mom. She was recently diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and only give a few months to live as her prognosis. So we packed up (me 36 weeks pregnant and Lacie 21 months) and drove 12 hours to Michigan. We survived the trip. We had already gone up in May because my mom's dad died. It really is a looooong drive and is not fun when you are BIG pregnant. Needless to say we made frequent stops.

Grandma Meehan- she actually looked pretty good. We got word yesterday that she slipped into a coma and hospice says she probably only has a week left.

I'm so sorry about your grandmother. I bet you guys were a sight....you nice and big and your dad with a cane! How many people take a hike around the Michigan stadium in those conditions! =)
